Enabling Garbage Collection in Objective-C is pretty easy, if you know where to find the setting for it:

1) Double Click on the Building Target

Step 1

2) On the "Build" Page, search for the "Garbage Collection" Build Setting and set it to "required"

Step 2

3) You're done.
